Anxiety Treatment in Manhattan

Are worry and fear making it hard to function or enjoy life? You are not alone. Anxiety is one of the most common mental health challenges, and it is highly treatable. At ThriveWell Psychotherapy, we provide personalized treatment to help you feel calmer, balanced, and resilient.

How Anxiety Impacts Daily Life

Anxiety can appear as constant worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks, disrupted sleep, or fear of social situations. It can interfere with your job, relationships, and personal wellbeing. If anxiety feels overwhelming or begins to limit your life, therapy can provide effective relief.

At ThriveWell, we listen carefully and work with you to understand the root of your anxiety and create strategies to help you regain control.

How We Treat Anxiety

We use proven therapeutic methods and customize every treatment plan to your goals.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and reframe negative thinking patterns that drive anxiety. You will build practical tools to challenge anxious thoughts and create more helpful ways of thinking.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT teaches emotion regulation and mindfulness skills. This approach is useful when anxiety is intense or leads to panic. You will learn to stay centered and respond to challenges more calmly.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT teaches you to acknowledge anxious thoughts without letting them take control. You will learn how to stay focused on what matters most to you, even when anxiety shows up.

  • ThriveWell Psychotherapy is an out-of-network provider and does not directly participate with any insurance companies. However, we do provide Superbill documentation, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan offers out-of-network coverage. Our team can help guide you through this process if needed. Here are some questions we recommend asking your insurance provider:

    • Does my plan offer any out-of-network benefits for mental health?

    • Do I have to meet my deductible before receiving reimbursement?

    • How much will I be reimbursed for each session?

    • Is there a limit to how many sessions my plan covers for mental health?

    • Are there any prior authorizations or referrals needed to get reimbursed?

  • To ensure consistency and respect for everyone’s time, ThriveWell has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
